Last week, I attended The Visual Science of Art Conference in Amsterdam. I presented a research poster with some of my MA research into Minimalism, neuroaesthetics and visual mindfulness. Because of the covid lockdowns I’ve been waiting to attend this conference for two years so I was thrilled to be able to go. It was such a great mix of people from different disciplines across art and science and though there were times where numbers and graphs in presentations went over my head, I met many fascinating people and it’s given me so much food for thought and fresh inspiration. I definitely want to go again next year.
Thanks to the organisers:
