The Spaghetti Factory, 2017
ceramic, pedal, water, plastic
My degree show work ‘The Spaghetti Factory’ is an installation made from transparent red perspex, white ceramic and water. One hundred and sixty-nine thick string shaped pieces of 2m long white ceramic are suspended from a 1m x 1m sheet of transparent red perspex. When the viewer presses the foot pedal beside the tray of water on the floor, a wave is created by a flipper. The strong white stripes of the reflected ceramic pieces bend and wriggle.
