Since starting my new my new role as Producer (Communities) at Baltic, I’ve been working with artist Mani Kambo on International Art Club for the last two months. It’s a weekly after school art club at Carr Hill School in Gateshead that celebrates the diversity of cultural expression and brings together pupils from sanctuary seeking families with the wider school population. It’s been lush working with Mani, the group loves her and I’ve looked forward to her IAC sessions every week.
